Borders/The Celebration
This is the most recent video, shot while in Las Vegas. It was a pre-race party for an off road event. I had originally traveled to this area to document these types of vehicles in the desert. I was interested in looking at these vehicles removed from their designed environment, the natural landscape, and placed into the urban foreign space. The natural landscape is never removed from these objects regardless of where they are viewed. Originally intended to be shown with sculptural element "In Durance Vile".
